  • Working Group Meeting in Novara (Italy) on 22 and 23 September 2010
    The next Working Group Meeting will take place in Novara to present preliminary results of the feasibility studies and prepare 3rd Dissemination Event in Prague.
  • Working Group Meeting in Soporna (Slovakia) on 29 and 30 June 2010
    The ChemLog Partners have met in Soporna to discuss implementation of activities with focus on the progress of completion of the feasibility studies and the follow up of the Policy Advisory Group Meeting in Moscow in view of deepening cooperation between EU – and Russia.
  • 2nd Policy Advisory Group Meeting in Moscow on 21 and 22 June 2010
    The 2nd Policy Advisory Group Meeting took place in Moscow in the facilities of the Delegation of the European Union to Russia to discuss challenges of chemical logistics in Central and Eastern Europe with special focus on the dimension EU - Russia. Under leadership of the Minister for Economy and Labour of Saxony-Anhalt and President of the European Chemical Regions network Dr. Reiner Haseloff representatives from industry, science and administration participated have identified problems and needs for future action. Especially the establishment with important stakeholders such as the Russian Chemist Union, the Russian Logistic Association and important logistic service provider such as Transcontainer, Deutsche Bahn and Hupac were a big success for the project. Furthermore Dr. Haseloff has spoken with Mr Krymov, Minister for Economy of the Moscow region, who has articulated his support for the ChemLog project. On the 2nd day ChemLog partners visited two intermodal terminals in Moscow (Kuncevo and Podolsk) to discuss practical questions of intermodal transport of chemical goods.     Best-Practice Solutions for Chemical Logistics in Central and Eastern Europe
    The ChemLog partners have published the best-practice study, which describes best-practice solutions in chemical logistics from the ChemLog partner countries. 18 cases from different areas such as intermodal transport, logistics concepts and integrated logistics have been described.

  • 2nd ChemLog Dissemination Conference in Leuna on 15th of April 2010
    ChemLog invites all interested stakeholders to participate in the 2nd Dissemination Conference on 15th of April in Leuna (Saxony-Anhalt/Germany) The project partners will present current results of activities and discuss it with representatives from politics and industry. The conference should pave the way for further intensification of exchange of experience and improvement of framework conditions for chemical logistics in Central and Eastern Europe. We are looking forward to a fruitful discussion.
